My first takeaway from this unflattering macbook-on-a-table angle: I'm starting to look exactly like I remember my overweight dad looking at about my age.
I learned to juggle three balls while bored at work one day (at UCLA). Seriously, it takes about an hour to get three ball juggling down pretty well.
I had been learning a few tricks here and there, but taking a 90 minute juggling class last month taught me about ten new things, including how to start with four balls and clubs. It took about three weeks of juggling clubs for 10 minutes or so to get them down.
Funny juggling story: During one weird summer where I fell in love with a juggler and traveled around the country with him, we were doing street performance juggling in Boulder (or Denver...one of the two), to raise cash to see the The Flying Karamazov Brothers. The Bros apparently heard about us doing it, and came out and threw patterns with us. Dube clubs flying like snowflakes. Coolest juggling I've ever done. (And they gave us free tix...so that was cool.)
I found my clubs the other day, they're big heavy monsters, I tried tossing them around and just found myself running to get out of the way. Hee!
